Helix® Dental Implants

The Helix® implant is modifi ed Acid-etched Roughened Titanium (ART), cylinder screw designed to give secure mechanical fi xation and
load distribution in all clinical situations. Helix® is a two-stage, screw type implant that can be used in one-stage surger.

It allows achieving exceptional primary stability in class IV bone whereas in class I, dense cortical bone it guarantees safe and atraumatic insertion. The Helix® implant is based on a root form titanium core with a self tapping thread.

The core of the implant allows for bone condensation during insertion. This adds to primary stability of implants and stimulates healing process.
The thread of the implant has been designed so that the outer diameter of the implant remains the same whereas provides optimal cutting action. The implants are delivered with full service support from Van Straten Medical including assistance during surgery.

The instruments are designed to be simple and universal. Only a limited number of instruments are suffi cient to perform surgery and prosthetics. The surgical instruments for the Helix® and
Helix TM (Trans Mandibular Implant) systems are logically organized in a
sequence oriented tray. Selection of drills corresponding with the diameters and lengths of implants enables smooth and precise preparation of the implant bed in a time-saving and atraumatic manner.
