Founded in 1975, Van Straten Medical is a Dutch, family owned company having its offices in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.
Van Straten Medical is active in more than 35 countries and holds several different patents for products such as constant low vacuum in wound drainage systems and blood reinfusion systems and patents for the use of ceramic coatings used with implants and prostheses.
The company is divided in 5 different divisions, each with their own specialisation.
