MEDINORM S-600/S-150 PREVACUUMED CLOSED REDON WOUND DRAINAGE SYSTEM
SIMPLE
You never need to establish a vacuum or reactivate one, because it is already there. No pumps, no batteries, no springs, no membranes. Each bottle is a sterile sealed collection chamber that maintains a constant level of vacuum until the container is completely full.
SAFE
With the introduction of the non-return valve the possibility of backflow of exudate is prevented, therefore the S-600 Medinorm System is safer for your patients. Less bottle changes will make nurses job easier and with the new Luer Lock coupling safer.
ECONOMIC
The scientifically determined optimal capacity of 600 ml eliminates more than 75 % of the bottle changes and as fewer units are required the S-600/S-150 system will be a more economical product for the hospitals. When a 400 ml system is already depleted, the Medinorm S-600 system will still have about 85 % of its original suction capacity.
PROMOTES THE HEALING PROCESS
By providing a constant, negative pressure disturbing woundsurfaces and underlying tissue layers is prevented. Thus woundhealing is promoted and incidence of hematoma and infection is reduced.
COMPLETELY DISPOSABLE
From insertion to disposal the totally enclosed system requires little or no manipulation until the wound tubing is removed from the wound and the system is disposed of. When evacuation is complete
the container is simply discarded. Should drainage exceed the container volume a sterile prevacuumed replacement bottle is easily connected. With the introduction of the S-600/S-150 system the incidence of the need for a replacement bottle is reduced to a maximum of 15 %.
