The DONOR system is reliable, safe and easy to use for
patient's own blood reinfusion.
DONOR is used after orthopaedic surgeries such as total knees, total hips, revisions and spinal surgery.
It requires just a few steps to return up to 800 mL of blood to your patient. Moreover, it is patient's own blood. The unique Pall LipiGuard filter system ensures a high flow rate for rapid reinfusion with a large volume capacity.
DONOR system includes:
- PUR drain (10 FG/CH) with Medifix connector and trocar
- Y-drain connector
- Connecting tube with anti-reflux valve
- Polycarbonate collection vessel with anti-coagulant/sampling port
- On/off switch with low vacuum regulator
- Tray with Pall LipiGuard VS filter, drip chamber, patient reinfusion line
- Self levelling drip chamber
- Sterilization by Gamma radiation
The filter has been validated and effectively removes harmful particles from the salvaged blood. Tests show impressive performance characteristics of the DONOR system. Data on file.
